Speech of the CEO of Sarmak Mining Company, Engineer Hassan Hosseinqoli

Manager Director

With more than half a century of experience in the mining and mineral processing industry, **Sormak Mining Company** has always strived to play an effective role in the country’s industrial growth by relying on technical expertise, innovation, and commitment to sustainable development. From the beginning of its operations in 1972 with the extraction of lead from the Ahangaran mine, to today—when we are recognized as a knowledge-based company with several registered inventions—our path has consistently been founded on improving quality, efficiency, and environmental preservation. At the Ahangaran Mining and Industrial Complex, by utilizing modern pyrometallurgy and hydrometallurgy technologies, we have succeeded in transforming low-grade and resistant ores into valuable products. The design and construction of the first industrial RHF furnace in Iran, as well as the rotary three-piece reduction furnace, are examples of our innovations on this path. These not only increased production efficiency but also marked a significant step in reducing pollutants and conserving natural resources. Sormak today is a symbol of the fusion of experience and innovation.** Through the development of advanced flotation lines, the use of spray dryers for producing pure zinc sulfate, and the commissioning of eco-friendly smelting and refining furnaces, we have implemented a complete chain from extraction to final product manufacturing at the highest standards. Our commitment to quality, sustainable development, and technical advancement has distinguished us not only in production but also in exports, positioning us as a leading provincial producer. At Sormak, we believe that the future of Iran’s mining industry depends on innovation, responsibility, and long-term vision.
With pride, we continue the path of development—supported by a specialized team, advanced infrastructure, and a bright outlook for tomorrow.
