According to MadanNews, the production of iron ore concentrate by major mining companies in the country in August 2025 experienced a remarkable growth of 17% compared to the same period last year. According to official statistics, in addition to the increase in production, the amount of concentrate sent has also registered a 20% growth.

10 major iron ore producing companies (Gol Gohar, Chadormalu, Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development, Foolad Sanghan Mineral Industries, Central Iron Ore Company of Iran, Goharzamin, Tosee Faragir Sanabad Company, Opal Parsian Sangan, Sabapour and Jalalabad) produced 4 million 119 thousand and 365 tons of concentrate in August.

This figure was 3 million 509 thousand and 947 tons in the same period last year.

The amount of concentrate sent in August also increased by 20% compared to the same period last year, reaching one million 421 thousand and 481 tons. This number was one million 180 thousand and 100 tons in August last year.

7% increase in iron concentrate production in 5 months

Major iron concentrate producing companies produced about 22 million 69 thousand and 934 tons of concentrate from the beginning of April to the end of August 2025. This figure was 20 million 557 thousand and 312 tons in the same period last year, indicating an increase of 7%.

These companies sent 8 million 231 thousand and 370 tons of concentrate in the first 5 months of this year, with an increase of 19%. The amount of concentrate sent during the mentioned period last year was 6 million 901 thousand and 66 tons.
